This is not the post we imagined writing when we started Hi-Snaps.
We made Hi-Snaps for adults who wanted another option.
For the person who stopped wanting the third glass of wine. For the sober-curious friend who still wants to come to happy hour. For the dinner party, the concert, the girls’ trip, the night on the couch. For ourselves.
A tiny, thoughtfully made 5mg THC + 5mg CBD drink booster that lets you decide what—and how much—you want in your glass.
And right now, products like ours are caught in a much bigger fight over the future of hemp-derived THC.
Here's the very short version:
Hemp was federally legalized under the 2018 Farm Bill. An entirely new category grew from it—including hemp-derived THC beverages and drink products. But regulation hasn't kept pace, leaving a confusing patchwork of rules across the country.
We agree that needs to change.
We believe in 21+ sales.
Clear dosing and labeling.
Third-party testing.
Responsible manufacturing.
Real standards.
Real enforcement.
What we don't believe the answer has to be is eliminating the category altogether.
There are proposals in Congress that would take a regulatory approach instead—creating federal standards for things like testing, labeling, manufacturing, age restrictions and oversight while preserving a legal pathway for compliant hemp products.
And this is where you come in.
If Hi-Snaps has become part of your dinner parties, your happy hours, your nightcap, your travels—or simply given you another choice besides alcohol—we would love for you to tell the people making these decisions.
It takes about a minute.
Visit the Hemp Beverage Alliance Action Center, enter your information, and send a message to your representatives asking them to support sensible regulation and a legal pathway for responsible hemp-derived THC products.

We built Hi-Snaps because we thought adults deserved more choices, not fewer.
Turns out we might need your help keeping it that way.
Keep the Snap. 💚
